The rules for using PocketChange.

Educational use only

PocketChange is a learning tool. It is not banking, investing, or a financial service. It does not accept real deposits, issue cards, or move money outside the app.

Play-money only

All balances, allowance, interest, and transactions are simulated. Do not treat a PocketChange balance as real money or as a bank account.

Grown-up responsibility

A grown-up is responsible for the family account and for every kid login they create. Kid views are read-only and must not be treated as independent real accounts.

Acceptable use

Use PocketChange for your own family. Do not impersonate other people, try to access another family's accounts, or use the app for anything other than educational tracking and practice.

The service

PocketChange is free to use for now. We may change or discontinue features. The app is provided as-is for learning. The Important notice on the homepage still applies: PocketChange is not a bank and does not provide banking, investment, or financial services.
